Today’s hottest jobs may become obsolete in future

Industrial revolution in 18th century stripped agricultural sector of workers and then again in 21st century we did same to manufacturing, most of the manual jobs are done by robots.
Now evolution and advancement of artificial intelligence will begin to strip companies of their white-collar workers in the next decade.
Some of the hottest jobs of today may get obsolete by 2025. Already various IT models using AI & Robotic technologies, are self-running the critical operations. What next?
History tells us that somehow the labour market creates new jobs whenever it destroys some old ones.
So, what are the probable jobs that will be in demand in future?
  • Personal manager, coach and worker

    1. Most of the future jobs will be on demand basis, means companies will hire more and more freelancers, and will be compensated for the specific work done.
    2. Everyone must brand themselves to sustain in competitive environment.
  • Professional triber

    1. A freelancer professional manager who is specialist in grouping and managing peoples for specific tasks, through inorganic channels.
  • Freelance specialist professors

    1. The continued growth of online courses and the introduction of alternative accreditations will spawn a growth in freelance or independent professors.
    2. There may be online education platform will become universities themselves, with no set boundaries.
  • Urban farmers

    1. As the more and more urbanisation in developing countries happening, the current rural farming will not able to meet demands of urban population.
    2. The high-tech buildings are constructed today to meet their resident’s food demand by growing own crops.
  • Retirement-life planner

    1. Due to medical advancement life expectancy has increased in most of the countries.
    2. By 2025, the World Health Organization predictsthat 63% of the global population will live to over the age of 65 – some well past their centenary.
    3. As the average age continues to get older, the retirement-life planner will become hot job.
  • Remote health care specialist

    1. There will be a need for people who can be remote health care specialists to offload some of the work of local or regional health care specialists who need to commit their time to caring for patients with more urgent diseases.
    2. Remote diagnosis and operations to patients using robots already successfully experimented.
  • IOT experts

    1. Internet of Things industry, which is expected to be a $19 trillion market by 2020, will create a number of new jobs not just for engineers, but for technically adept handymen and women.
These are only few of the things which we discussed here, lot more new types of job will evolve which, may had taken some shape, somewhere but difficult to identify now. One thing for sure, there will be more demand for specialist then white or blue-collar workers.
 Whatever you do in life, try to become expert of your work, because generalist will fallout in competition.
